Where we are today

In 2023, NNHRA launched the Safety Outreach System (SOS) and became an overdose prevention supply distribution site. We look forward to working together and with the community on our goals for 2024 (stay tuned). Check out some of our work below.

Safety Outreach System

Here, you can report fentanyl-positive drugs and overdoses. Your personal data is not collected when you submit a bad batch report. The only information collected are the drugs involved, the zip code or area where the drugs were purchased, and any other information you want to provide. This information is shared with people who sign up for push alerts and managed by the Northern Nevada Harm Reduction Alliance. It is NEVER shared with law enforcement.

Once there is a spike of a contaminated batch of drugs reported in the app, the NNHRA team will send a push notification out to users of the app with details of the potentially bad batch and harm reduction education on how to stay safe.
